Chief Smith has introduced a program that is called "Citizens Academy." This where everyday citizens will learn what its like to walk in the shoes of a police officer. They will take part in either all, or part of the following:

• Class room lectures

• Crime scene investigations

• Evidence Collection

• Suspect interrogation

• Traffic stops

• Ride along with a certified officer

• Booking and fingerprint procedures

• Radio Traffic
